He is a course specialist at this stage. He is at the age and the handicap mark that it's hard to find opportunities for him,. We came here hoping that the track might bring out something in him, and it did. Paul was brilliant on him, he jumped well all the way. He was wrong at the last but was still fast over it. He had every chance to fold from the last but he didn't, he stuck out his head and was brave. I expected him to run well but I didn't think he'd win off his mark. The ease in the ground probably wasn't a help either but he got there and it's fantastic. Every winner for a small yard like us is unbelievable. He has had a lot of injuries and wear and tear over the years, but he is still brave and shows a good appetite for it. He'll come back here, I wouldn't even consider going anywhere else with him now. We are in bonus territory with him. He has been a great servant to the yard.

I just had a winner (Kalanisi King) in a point-to-point twenty minutes ago so it's a good start to 2017 - if the rest of the year could be something like this I will be delighted. I genuinely thought my luck wouldn't hold up today with the way the ground was, and even though it was a low grade handicap it was very competitive. Paul (Townend) was brilliant on him; he got away in front and dictated the pace to suit our horse and the horse’s jumping probably won it for him. The horse deserved to win more than anything as he was unlucky to run into a couple of good horses the last few months. I don't know where he will go from here, he might get a break and come back in the spring.
James Daniel Dullea
I'm delighted for his owners, the four member Line View Syndicate from Bandon, as they have been very patient with him when everything that could go wrong went wrong with him.
James Daniel Dullea
Line View is a very nice horse and we think an awful lot of him. The track probably didn't suit him though but his class showed through - he is all speed. He needs nice ground, wouldn't want it too firm and he'll go for a winners' bumper now, maybe at Punchestown.
James Daniel Dullea
