After race at Gowran Park Sat, 3rd Oct, 2026 (1st)  He is a super horse to get and thanks to Dessie (McDonogh, previous trainer) as well, as he had all the hard work done. I just had to change a few things with him. It's funny as, at home, he works unbelievably well and, obviously, with his name (translated to JP McManus' home county of Limerick), he must have been showing that as a young horse. His jumping has let him down at times, but he got into a lovely rhythm today. I wasn't sure if stepping him up to the 0-130 grade was the right thing to do, but there was nothing else for him. The race fell apart with two fallers at the first, but you can only go and win. He seems versatile ground-wise and, like a lot of those older horses, maybe a change of yard rekindles things a bit. In For The Night finished third here yesterday, also for JP, so they are two lucky horses for us to have. Conor O'Dwyer

After race at Kilbeggan Fri, 24th Jul, 2026 (1st)  He came from Dessie McDonogh's with the other lad (earlier winner in For The Night), . He's so big, he nearly gets away with it. He travelled like the other lad as well, very sweet. I was happy throughout the race. It was an easy watch. He tends, then, to kinda think about things when he gets to the front. He stuck at it there and got the job done, so it's brilliant. Conor O'Dwyer

After race at Naas Sat, 11th Feb, 2023 (1st)  This is a day for old trainers! Arthur Moore and myself, give us the stuff and we might be able to do the job!. He's a grand horse, we could say we were lucky at the last with the other fella (blundering). He pulled hard in Leopardstown last time and he ran a cracking race considering. He didn't stop pulling until going to the second last. Over two miles today they went quicker and he didn't pull as much. He's a beautiful looking horse, a fine big horse. That will give my wife Helen a big gee up at home watching the TV. When he came first she said 'oh I love that horse'. Desmond McDonogh

After race at Limerick Tue, 22nd Nov, 2022 (1st)  Luimneach for Limerick! I'm gone from Limerick 55 or 56 years now and I was born and reared in Summerville Avenue in the city, which you can see from here,. When I saw the horse's name first, I thought 'oh my god!' as there was a lot expected and this is the first step anyway. Desmond McDonogh
