After race at Curragh Sun, 14th Sep, 2025 (1st)  we only have a handful of Flat horses in-training and are still know as a national hunt yard but I’d love to have another 10 or 20 Flat horses for the summer. You’d love to think that the likes of today shows people that we can do it. I was very worried about the ground and if the forecast had been right, I’m not sure he would have run at all. He’s not the same on soft ground. He ran a cracker in it last year to finish third and was 8lb lighter this year. We were hoping he’d put his best foot forward and if he did, we thought he’d be thereabouts. Six furlongs is his trip. He doesn’t get seven and he’s not sharp enough for five. He’s usually carrying top-weight and today was a lot different carrying 9st1lb. Patrick T Foley

After race at Fairyhouse Fri, 7th Jun, 2024 (1st)  Obviously with him winning it last year it was an ideal race to come back here for,. We'll probably go the same route and go back to the Curragh for the Listed race that he was fourth in last year. He was unlucky not to get the black-type last year and you'd be hoping this year with being stronger and more mature he has a chance of getting it. He's holding his form well and he's not too far off it. We tried him over seven on his first run back this season, to see would he get it, but he doesn't. He's a six furlong horse. We dropped him back to six at the Curragh, he missed the break but we were delighted with how he ran on to get fourth. If he had jumped he'd probably have been closer. He was top of the weights that day and it'd hard for him. At least in a Listed race he'll be off level weights. If he can get a length improvement we'll have the black-type. Patrick T Foley

After race at Fairyhouse Fri, 9th Jun, 2023 (1st)  This is what he's showing us in his work everyday. The win last time has done his confidence the world of good, a win is always a help to a horse,. Coming here we were very happy with the conditions, the race was ideal for him. Patrick T Foley

After race at Cork Wed, 17th May, 2023 (1st)  That's the first time he's run like his work has been,. His work has always been very good. It looked like a tricky maiden and we weren't coming confident that he'd win it, we were saying that he'd surely be in the shake up. It's surprising that he hasn't won by now but it's probably our own fault in one way as we ran him over the wrong trip in Punchestown, he just didn't see it out. He was second over seven here last season but dropping him back was probably the key to him, six seems to be his trip. He was rated 72 and we'll see what he gets now, we'd have no problem stepping him up in class regardless. Whether he's sold or not, we'll see, if not I'd love to hold on to him. Even if he got a few pounds I think he'd win off that. I think getting a bit of black-type should be no problem to him. He loved that ground today so he has the whole summer ahead of him. We didn't make a plan, we just wanted to get today out of the way and see what happens then. He's a real relaxed horse. Luke was saying in the stalls he was trying to get him back out and he just stood there. He's like that at home as well, which is a big help. With him being four he's a strong horse so we didn't mind giving away the weight today. He's only had a few runs and should keep improving. He's a lovely horse. Patrick T Foley
