that’s job done! He's as tough as boots and that's seven wins in different tracks and eight in total. He's not a nice horse to train but he's a lovely horse to race and we’re delighted! . The plan was Wednesday (in Naas) and today was just a bonus. I couldn't leave it (the race) even though he was 1lb wrong (at the weights).

He always comes this time of year, and he's really taken up the last few days. He's been disappointing when the few I've ran have run well. He's in over seven furlongs at Down Royal, and I'd say he'll definitely run. He ran in Galway once and will not go there.

When he comes to the races he doesn't behave but he is brilliant at home and I can't thank the stall handlers enough today (needed to be blindfolded going into the stalls). I thought the ground might be a bit lively for him but he got a lead the whole way and he is improving and improving.
