Harty and Smullen Have A Nice Day Have A Nice Day put a smile on the face of those that took the 6/1 as he proved best in the seven-furlong handicap at the Curragh. Sabrina Harty ran two in the race and Have A Nice Day's stablemate Breathe Easy soon raced in a close second to Creggs Pipes upon leaving the stalls. Have A Nice Day raced in the second rank of horses in conjunction with Texas Rock. Breath Easy took over from Creggs Pipes with over two furlongs to race. Have A Nice Day, in third, was ridden by Pat Smullen to get closer and he responded well to pick off his stablemate with over a furlong to go. Smullen kept him up to his work in the latter stages as closers Captain Cullen (12/1) and Three Bells (16/1) finished well for second and third. Have A Nice Day won by a length and it was the same margin between Captain Cullen and Three Bells in third. Sabrina Harty said: "I'm delighted with him. I actually thought our other horse (Breathe Easy) might turn the tables on him today. "He's a specialist seven-furlong horse. He's an absolute legend and keeps improving and improving. He's a super little horse. "He's in at Galway in the seven-furlong handicap, in which he was fourth last year. Hopefully he keeps getting decent ground. "It worked out lovely for him today and Pat gave him a great ride." Pat Smullen added: "He's a lovely horse and he seems to like this place, he's very good here. Everything worked out perfectly today, he was able to get a lead and a bit of cover early and to be fair to him he stuck at it well to the line." Have A Nice Day improved his record to three wins from six runs at the Curragh. This was the five-year-old's seventh career success. Additional reporting by Gary Carson
