I thought we were very beatable first run back and to be honest I wasn’t going to run him only there was a very small entry. Jack said he had a couple of blows and was delighted with him — he jumped well. He was entitled to do it on ratings, but it’s not always that easy. We thought we might get a soft lead but it was an honest gallop and Philip put the gun to our head the whole way. I’ll talk to Noel and Valerie (Moran, owners) to see what they think (about plans). There is a lot of prize-money to be picked up in conditions hurdles and he has no Grade One penalty, so he can step back into Grade Twos and Threes. I’d say you could see him in anything from two-mile-five back to two miles. You know he’s going to wear his heart on his sleeve and try his best for you. The way he jumps a hurdle you would say he would jump a fence, so I wouldn’t rule it out. Gordon Elliott

After race at Bellewstown Tue, 26th Aug, 2025 (1st)  I thought it might be a bit sharp for him, but it was a good performance. He galloped to the line and Josh said it took him a while to pull him up. The further he went, the better he got. He'll go to the American Grand National now all being well. Gordon Elliott

After race at Down Royal Fri, 29th Oct, 2021 (1st)  Jack (Kennedy) said he was trying to wind it up the whole way, he actually wasn't doing a stroke and had his ears pricked. From the second last to the line he galloped the whole way. We are very happy. He's entered in the Hatton's Grace (at Fairyhouse) but we'll have to have a look and see what we think. I could see him stepping up (in trip) at some stage in the season. Gordon Elliott

After race at Fairyhouse Sun, 29th Nov, 2020 (1st)  we thought he was nice at home, he did it well in Ballinrobe and I thought he came on a lot from the race. I thought it was a good performance. Jack said he travelled and jumped. He did it all very easily. Gordon Elliott

After race at Fairyhouse Sun, 5th Jul, 2020 (1st)  He’s a lovely big horse. He was very babyish and even in Navan he really only got the hang of things up the hill. I knew he’d come on from it and he was a lot more on the ball today. M Halford
