Formscan By Alan Magee - MINELLA CROONER won a point-to-point for John Nallen in April and was sold to present connections for 70,000 at Cheltenham later that month. The Shantou gelding readily landed the odds in a Sligo bumper last month and this looks a nice opportunity to follow up. Junior Alliance could provide the main threat in receipt of 14lb including Joey Dunne’s useful claim. The son of Famous Name is out of a hurdle winner and hails from the family of Sun Princess. It will interesting to see if the market speaks in his favour. The remaining trio need to step up on previous form to take a hand.
