Formscan - HORNICA has acquitted herself quite well against some smart mares, although she couldn't take full advantage of having her sights lowered at Ludlow. She chased home a couple of promising geldings, though, and the runner-up has since gone one better, so Ben Pauling's six-year-old deserves another chance. Yeld To Call was found wanting in a competitive series final at Kelso and will appreciate the drop in class, while Merely A Detail should also be happier now out of a handicap again.
