Approximately half a furlong out, Al Bowlly (GB), placed second, lugged slightly left-handed at the same time as Hunterian (IRE), placed third, hung right-handed, causing them to lightly bump, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Al Bowlly (GB).
Following the race, Sean Levey reported that Al Bowlly (GB), placed second, ran green.
