Permission was given for Zaochen Enki (FR) to wear a red hood to post; Love Tree (IRE) to wear a hood in the parade ring only.
An enquiry was held to consider two instances of interference, the first taking place leaving the home straight on the second circuit and the second, leaving the back straight on the final circuit, both involving Game Colours (IRE), placed third, ridden by Rex Dingle and Zaochen Enki (FR), placed fourth, ridden by Freddie Gingell.
In the first incident, Dingle was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as allowed his mount to drift left-handed without sufficient correction causing Zaochen Enki (FR) to clip heels.
In the second incident, Dingle was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed insufficient room when rejoining the railed part of the course causing inconvenience to Zaochen Enki (FR).
Following the race, Freddie Gingell reported that Zaochen Enki (FR), placed fourth, hung right-handed.
James Best reported that Love Tree (IRE), which was pulled up, hung left-handed; Fiona Shaw further reported that the mare made a respiratory noise.
