- Stewards Report

An enquiry was held involving the trainer, Shaun Lycett, trainer of Lusso Milan (IRE) which had fallen and the Clerk of the Course, into the reasons why Lycett ran across the racing line of the runners in front of the final flight of hurdles.
Having reviewed the evidence Lycett was reminded of his responsibilities not to enter the course whilst racing is underway, the Clerk of the Course was reminded of his responsibilities to ensure that all gate persons are fully aware of their duties during racing.
The performance of Castle Quarter (IRE) which started second favourite and was pulled up, was considered.
The representative of Neil Mulholland’s explanation that the gelding was unsuited by the going described as Good to Soft, Soft in places on this occasion, and may prefer a quicker surface, was noted.
The Veterinary Officer examined Castle Quarter (IRE) during routine testing and had nothing to report.
