Permission was given for Fancy Stuff (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
At the first fence, Sunday Soldier (IRE), placed fourth, jumped right-handed giving a bump to Settle Down Jill (IRE), placed third, before Sunday Soldier (IRE) then knuckled on landing, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
At the second fence, Settle Down Jill (IRE), placed third, jumped sharply left-handed, giving a heavy bump to Sunday Soldier (IRE), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Settle Down Jill (IRE).
Following the race, Kielan Woods reported that Sunday Soldier (IRE), placed fourth, suffered interference when jumping the second fence and the Veterinary Officer reported that Fancy Stuff (IRE), which was pulled up, finished lame on its left-fore.
