THE JCB TELE-HANDLER "JUNIOR" NATIONAL HUNT FLAT RACE (CLASS 5) (GBB RACE) Permission was given for Close To Me (GB) and Order Driven (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Turning out of the back-straight, Order Driven (IRE), unplaced, took a false step causing the rider to steady the gelding, which resulted in Krackerjack (GB), unplaced, running onto its heels which in turn caused The Honorable Norm (GB), unplaced, to clip heels.
After viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Robert Dunne reported that Order Driven (IRE), unplaced, took a false step turning out of the back-straight and Harry Bannister reported that The Honorable Norm (GB), unplaced, clipped heels turning out of the back-straight.
