Having reviewed the start, the Stewards were satisfied that Diamond Dice (IRE) had hung badly left- handed and refused to jump off after the start was effected and was therefore deemed to be a runner.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Diamond Dice (IRE) which had hung badly left- handed and refused to jump off after the start was effected.
Jonjo O’Neill was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the gelding had whipped round and unseated its rider as the start was effected at Carlisle on 17 February 2025, O’Neill was informed that any future similar behaviour from the gelding may result in Diamond Dice (IRE) being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
