Fairyhouse Mon, 5th Oct, 2026  Chanceitlucky I was very happy with him coming here today. He’s a hard horse to get fit and I never had him as fit as today,. He wants good ground, and then they were all pulling out because of the ground. I said I’d take my chance. He winged hurdles on it and won well. We’ll give him three weeks now. I ran him in Ballinrobe, his first run back after a break, and he ran a lovely race. I went back two weeks after and he ran very poorly. I blamed myself for coming back too quick. He’s after having about five weeks of a break now and he just needs a bit of time. He’ll definitely go jumping fences next year.
