You wouldn't have expected that after Friday evening's run. He's been a little bit frustrating overall,. He ran well when third here over course and distance back in May when there was a slight ease and you'd have thought he might have won a few after that. That's probably him done for the year and hopefully he can come back next year and win a couple. He works better at home than his rating but it's the races where it matters. The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages involving Lily's Prince, ridden by S. Corby, placed third, Tylery Wonder, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed fourth, and Oor Jock, ridden by C.D. Hayes, placed fifth, where it appeared Oor Jock and Tylery Wonder suffered interference. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned, in the presence of Mr. Michael Halford, trainer and master of S. Corby. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that while interference took place they could not be satisfied any horse had improved it's finishing position as a result of the interference and so they made no alteration to the judges' placings. Furthermore, they considered the interference to have been accidental and so they took no further action.

Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra for each race won Any horse rated above 95 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 10st. Subsequently, the excess over 95 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse.
