Navan Wed, 21st Oct, 2026 Coincidental Glory I'd say Sam (Coen) is cursing me because he would have been riding this horse, so it is his loss but Reese's gain. They are two great lads and the title race is going down to the wire. Sam has ridden a lot of winners for me over the past couple of years and a good result would be a draw!. this horse had gone 15 runs without a win, and I won't tell you what I was saying about the handicapper! He gave him 1lb for finishing third at the Curragh last week so that’s why we are back today, as he was going up to 61 and out of this (0-60) grade. I was sort of forced to run as it is great to have him in this grade. He has run a blinder, needed the 5lb (Holohan’s claim) off and when these types of horses get into this grade, it is easier for them. He came home well on ground he wouldn't love and is far better on fast ground. He has a higher rating on the all-weather, so we'll see.
Dundalk Fri, 9th Oct, 2026 Serenity Blue We bought him out of James Horton’s privately. Ted Durcan recommended him, he rang me one day out of the blue and said ‘there is a horse here that should be bought’,. They were having a bit of trouble with him, I think scoping wrong, and he felt that our place might suit him, being an open place and airy. It definitely has. We haven't killed him. We gave him a gallop up here last week and were very happy with him. The lads have been very lucky for me. Total Recall are with me since I started and we’ve had a lot of success together. We bought this lad as a nice fun horse for the winter. I’d say he’ll jump a hurdle next summer as well so we’ve plenty to look forward to. He’s a nice horse and he did that quite easily. Hopefully the handicapper isn’t too hard on him. We’ll campaign him up here for the winter and see what happens.

Bellewstown Thu, 1st Oct, 2026 One Cool Bear John Ryan (owner) is a big National Hunt man, a lot of horses with Tom (Cooper) and that, and used to be a former Forpadydeplasterer man as well. He has bred him and it is great to get a win for the mare as well. He ran well in Dundalk and paid the penalty a little bit for running well and not winning. He got a high mark one day for being second, he went up 3lb or 4lb. That's hard on them. I said that an ease in the ground today would be a big help to him and he had a nice draw. He travelled well, in all fairness. He'll get six (furlongs) no problem as well, so it is great. He's in tomorrow night in Dundalk, we won't run him because we will carry a 7lb penalty, plus I think we are 4lb or 5lb higher (on all-weather). We will wait until Navan next Wednesday.

Down Royal Mon, 28th Sep, 2026 Minaun View Keeping the Down men happy!. Great ride. I told him to jump out and that he didn't have to make it but if you're there you're there. She's able to float and I knew coming down the hill they were all well under pressure at the back, and she was going easy. Great to get a handicap with her. She's in a mares' race at Bellewstown in the middle of the week, so we will see what way the decs are tomorrow and we will make a decision whether we go or not. I'll see what the handicapper does.
