The Conference & Banqueting Facilities @ Limerick Handicap produced a tremendous finish with Enziya coming from last to first in the final two furlongs to just snatch the spoils.

The 9/2 chance was plum last under Colin Keane and appeared to have plenty to do as Sottsands led early in the straight and was ridden to assert over a furlong out.

However, the whole complexion of the race changed as a wall of horses chased him down in the closing stages.

Keane got Enziya up in the final strides to score by a neck from Bridezilla with Jr Mahon and Bear Creek dead-heating for third just a shorthead further back.

Sottsands had to settle for fifth.

Winning trainer Ray Cody said, “He isn't quick so the plan was to ride him handier today, but you have to take your medicine as he can be slow into stride.

"Colin said there was no point in forcing him early-on, he gave him a chance and rode him to come home. He timed it to perfection and gave him a brilliant ride.

"He has a very good pedigree and while not many Night Of Thunders get that distance, that is his trip and he is going the right way. He'll be alright and could even jump a hurdle down the line. He is lazy but genuine."
