Formscan - Although Pitch And Toss proved an underwhelming joint-favourite in a Kempton bumper back in February, an improved bid would come as no surprise on his hurdling debut. Market support for the Dan Skelton-trained gelding would warrant respect, but RED ACRES MAX is a more solid proposition. The five-year-old supplemented a second at Fontwell with a decisive victory at Carlisle and his background between the flags gives hope that he will take well to timber. Cool Customer boasts a similar profile, while point-to-point winner New Rules is also of interest.
