Cork Mon, 3rd Aug, 2026  Green Style He had a setback last winter and, being a very good-moving horse, we decided to keep him in. We got him from the Crawfords and any of the ones we've got from them have been very professional. He isn't flashy at home, so that's why we came for a 2m2f bumper, but he has a high cruising speed and that's why I made the running. What he did there is better than what he does at home, and when he steps up in trip, I think he'll be better again. I think he will also go on soft ground and I'd be hoping he could be one for the winners' bumper at Listowel, so we'll see what Willie wants to do.

Downpatrick Tue, 14th Jul, 2026  Tolka Row I was just amazed (to get in) - at 7 this morning, in fairness, one of the Fahey's rang me to say he (Typical Thomas) wasn't running, and he didn't think that Noel Meade was running (first-reserve Mickey Cohen). Gordon's secretary rang then (Elliott, second-reserve Fabhcun). We said we better head on!. He had a great run in Tramore and then really disappointed (in Bellewstown), but I just think they over-watered and he got stuck in it. Cian Quirke said he was just labouring all the way. Maybe it was his first handicap, and everything was happening a bit quick. He stays well and I'd say three miles for him. For a big-bodied horse, it is amazing that he loves a bit of good ground. He's a wicked hardy horse, he takes his work. I think more Tramore, my local track, and those type of tracks. We'll see what the handicapper does.

Killarney Mon, 11th May, 2026  Hi Ho Idaho He is a lovely horse who is improving with every run and after Clonmel, we said we'd aim for here as his owners from Kerry and Cork. Brian Quill, from Listowel, heads the partnership and they are great new owners who have bought a couple of horses. Benny Walsh recommended him after his point-to-points, said he'd win plenty of races, so I went off his word and thankfully it has worked out. I think he'll keep improving, we'll aim for Listowel and he'll make a nice chaser next year.
