The Order Of St George gelding didn’t run too badly when fifth in a Navan maiden hurdle last month and looks on a fair mark, off 100, for his handicap debut. He was runner-up in a point-to-point on yielding ground so this may suit better now. His trainer Ian Donoghue also has another contender in Midleton Rare. That more experienced gelding was a solid fourth at Downpatrick last time. Top-weight Insouciant Dallier ran well over fences at Clonmel last time and is another to consider.

An extended handicap hurdle for four years old and upwards (110 = 12st 4lbs)
