14 STAND GROUND IN CORONATION CUP

Montjeu, champion middle-distance performer in Europe last year, heads the list of 14 entries for the Vodafone Coronation Cup after today`s forfeit stage.

Last year`s Prix de l`Arc de Triomphe winner is due to run in the Tattersalls Gold Cup at Leopardstown on Sunday.

Leading French trainer Andre Fabre, who has won the 12-furlong Group One contest five times already, has Amilynx and recent Saint-Cloud winner First Magnitude in this time.

Godolphin won the 1999 running with Daylami and the Godolphin team has five entries for this year`s contest. They are Fantastic Light, Iscan, Kayf Tara, Mutafaweq and Sagamix.

Vodafone Oaks winner Ramruma, who pulled a muscle on her reappearance at Newmarket, has been left in by trainer Henry Cecil.

Sir Michael Stoute has withdrawn Beat All but still has Vodafone Derby runner-up Daliapour and Greek Dance in the June 9 contest which carries a total prize fund of #250,000.
