16 LEFT IN FILLIES MILE

Flight Of Fancy, already prominent in the betting for next year`s Vodafone Oaks, is one of 16 entries confirmed today for the Meon Valley Stud Fillies` Mile at Ascot on Saturday.

Trained by Sir Michael Stoute and owned by The Queen, Flight Of Fancy booked her place in the Group One contest with an easy victory at Salisbury last month.

Other interesting entries include Luca Cumani`s Summer Symphony, beaten a neck in a Goodwood Group Three last time out, and the Mick Channon-trained Hotelgenie Dot Com, who finished a two-and-a-half-length second to Sequoyah in the Group One Moyglare Stud Stakes at the Curragh two weeks ago.

Aidan O`Brien still has Sequoyah in the #200,000 contest but she could run instead in the Shadwell Stud Cheveley Park Stakes at Newmarket the following week.

The Ballydoyle trainer has four other entries, La Vida Loca, Imagine, Red Coral and Little Firefly.
