Aidan O'Brien on his Guineas' hopes: 'Christophe is besotted with her' This time of year presents some of the best Jumps and Flat action for the die hard racing fan and everyone wants to know which Ballydoyle graduates are going to be the next superstars. Andrew Halligan visited Ballydoyle this week to get the latest on the magnificent team under the care of Aidan O’Brien. Albert Einstein - will head to the Guineas, he's done well physically, he’s very rapid, I don’t know if he’ll get the mile, everyone says he will, he’s very quick. He was that much above everything else, it was unusual. He’s very big and powerful and wide and strong. Puerto Rico and Gstaad are being trained for the 2000 Guineas. The lads might let two go to Newmarket and one to France. Physically, he's (Puerto Rico) done very well. You saw him this morning. He's scopey. He's strong and his mind is really going the right way. I thought of all the horses that are going to race and travel, he could be the one that could go through the season and go on and do a lot more. He could travel to all the big group ones. I'd say he's a miler, very uncomplicated. He can make the running and he can drop in. I had in my head that he was going to be a miler and that he could be one to take on the older milers. Everything is going to depend on what Albert does. Gstaad could be a mile and a quarter horse and head for the Cox Plate in Australia. Hawk Mountain - will be trained for Epsom or France. He's very comfortable at a mile-and-a-quarter. Montreal - Montreal could be trained for the Derby or the Guineas. He's a horse that won in Leopardtown very easily. Diamond Necklace - she’s very like her dad - very strong, very natural and takes no training, lots like her dad. Christophe is besotted with her, she might go to France and Precise to newmarket Precise will be trained for the Guineas and could go the Oaks route after. My instinct is that she's an incredible filly, I think that she'll go to the 1000 Guineas and I think she'll go to the Oaks after that. We've only trained a few Starspangledbanners, but everything she does suggests that she will stay. You saw her today. She's loads of personality but she relaxed in the Fillies’ Mile. I was super impressed. She's not over big. What’s unusual about her is that she's not over big, but she's still 30 kilos up on last year's racing weight, which doesn't usually happen for a filly that's not over big. I'd imagine she'll end up going straight to the 1000 Guineas. Drop Dead Gorgeous - one we might run next week and we think she is a very smart filly. She's a sister to Gleneagles, she might go a maiden in Naas, she might start there. True Love could be training for a 1000 Guineas, even though she's a No Nay Never, we may give her a chance of getting a mile and there's a chance that she could get it.
