Andretti Drawn In Nineteen

Australian speedster Miss Andretti has been drawn in stall 19 of 21 runners for tomorrow´s King´s Stand Stakes at Royal Ascot.

Lee Freedman´s six-year-old is the 100-30 favourite with Bet Direct to make a winning British bow in a race that also features three other Antipodean raiders.

Takeover Target was a sensational winner of the five-furlong heat last term and he takes his chance again from stall 14.

Magnus (17) has already been beaten twice by Miss Andretti this year while Gai Waterhouse´s Bentley Biscuit (three) completes the raiding party.

'If she produces her best form, she should run really well,' said Freedman.

'Under race conditions she can produce some very good times but these horses are linked in with each other and there´s not a lot between them.

'She´s better off with some of the others, but not that much.

'Takeover Target is a world champion sprinter, he´s the highest rated horse out of Australia at the moment and is in the top 10 in the world I believe so you have got to be respectful of him.

'Magnus is up an coming and has improved out of sight in the last 10 or 12 weeks,' Freedman told At The Races.

Tracey Collins´ Dandy Man has bagged stall one in the Group Two while Kevin Ryan runs three in Desert Lord, Green Manalishi and King Orchisos.

David Nicholls fields both Moss Vale and Tax Free, with William Haggas double-handed through Enticing and Conquest.

Beauty Is Truth and Manzila represent French interests, while Mark Wallace will be hoping Benbaun can go one place better than last year´s short-head second.

Pivotal Point, Matsunosuke, Moorhouse Lad, The Tatling, Dazed And Amazed and Hamoody complete the field.
