Another milestone for AP Tony McCoy, passed yet another remarkable milestone when he posted his 1,500th career victory after Celtic Native collected the EBF-Tattersalls (Ireland) Mares Only Novice`s Chase (qualifier) at Exeter today.Philip Hobbs` charge may have been a shade fortunate to take the spoils as she was making heavy weather getting the better of Briery Ann until that rival sprawled badly on landing after the third last fence. The incident left the way open for Celtic Native to notch her second win over fences as she passed the post with eight lengths to spare from the luckless runner-up.McCoy said: 'It`s great to get 1,500 winners on the board at the course where it all started for me seven years ago when I won on a horse called Chickabiddy.'It`s great whichever way you look at it but I`m lucky to ride for some brilliant trainers such as Mr Pipe.'It`s obviously a great landmark but there`s a few other things I`d like to do which are more important to me and that is to beat Richard Dunwoody`s all-time record of 1,699 career winners and ride more winners than Sir Gordon Richards in a season.'The way things are going, I`ve got chances of breaking Gordon Richards` record of 269 in this season as long as the weather is kind and there are not too many abandoned meetings and I stay sound and clear of suspensions.'But it`s all a long, long way away and for now, I`ll just keep riding as many winners as possible and doing my best for all the owners and trainers who keep supporting me.'McCoy immediately made further inroads into the Dunwoody and Richards scores when Carryonharry stuck on gamely to lift the Christine Loze Birthday Novices Chase at the expense of Stand Easy.
