Aran Concerto Fine Aran Concerto has reportedly come out of his impressive success at Navan on Sunday in A1 condition and trainer Noel Meade is looking forward to seeing him return to the highest level in the near future. The seven-year-old won two Grade One events as a novice hurdler a couple of seasons ago but missed the whole of the last campaign due to injury. However, he seemed as good as ever when powering to a seven-length success on his fencing debut at the weekend and a trip to Fairyhouse at the end of the month could now be on the cards. "He seems fine, thank goodness, and he jumped really well in the most part, which I was delighted with," said Meade. "He got in a little bit tight to the last, but I wouldn't mind that as when they are off for that length of time and running in heavy ground, they are bound to get a little bit tired late on. "He travelled really well through the race though, so I really am thrilled. "The Drinmore Novice Chase at Fairyhouse (November 30) would be the obvious race to look at now, but there will be no definite decision made until nearer the time."
