Artemis Jones made it third time lucky when winning on her first start on turf in the opening Party Time Maiden in Limerick.

The Johnny Murtagh trained filly had reached the frame on both her previous runs at Dundalk, finishing third on her debut in February, before going a place better last time.

Ben Coen kept it simple on the daughter of Awtaad, tracking the pace setters in a close up third, before producing the Murtagh trained filly to challenge over two furlongs out.

A couple of lengths clear entering the final furlong, the Yvonne Allen owned winner had two-and-a-half-lengths to spare at the finish.

Assistant Trainer Denis Linehan said: "She had two good runs at Dundalk during the winter and came back really strong. She had done a few bits of good work and we were confident coming here today.

"She liked the good ground - it has quickened up since yesterday and she handled it well. Hopefully she can be progressive and continues improving."
