Aidan O´Brien is planning a sprinting campaign with Astronomer Royal after the former French Guineas winner landed the Greenlands Stakes at The Curragh.

´He has natural speed and is very talented. When he won in France he did it with his speed, quickening up from the rear.´

The Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot is his main target and his price has shortened for that event. He is now 20/1 with Paddy Power, 16/1 with Boylesports and 14/1 with William Hill.
