Authorized is once again proving popular with the punters as Sunday's Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe looms large on the horizon.

Peter Chapple-Hyam's colt cost VC Bet a fortune when bolting up in the Derby and now trades at 11-10 after attracting hefty support for the French test.

Spokesman Neal Wilkins said: 'Authorized was a massive loser for us in the Derby and is a big six-figure loser for us in Sunday's coveted prize.

'We had been with Manduro throughout the ante-post exchanges so his demise was a big blow to VC Bet.'

Authorized is one of 14 runners still on course for the race with Anton Chekhov the only defector at the latest forfeit stage.
