Ayr facing wash-out

Saturday`s meeting at Ayr is looking doubtful after an inspection was called for 4pm on Friday afternoon.

The ground is currently heavy and waterlogged in places and with more rain forecast, clerk of the course Chris Kennedy is not confident of the meeting going ahead.

He said: 'The forecast is for more rain this afternoon and tomorrow. It`s not looking too clever.'
