BANGALORE TO MISS CESAREWITCH

Bangalore will miss the Tote Cesarewitch at Newmarket after suffering a setback, it was announced today.

Amanda Perrett`s charge had been 12-1 joint-third favourite for the second leg of the `autumn double` with the sponsors.

However, the colt`s trainer revealed: 'Bangalore will not run in the Cesarewitch, he has met with a setback and will miss the rest of the season.

'As people are betting on the race I thought they should know.

'Hopefully he will be back for next season.'

The four-year-old landed the Chester Cup in May and was also on the mark on his latest outing at Newbury in September.
