Bandari Heads To Germany

Mark Johnston´s Bandari is the sole British challenger in Sunday´s Group One Rheinland-Pokal der Stadtsparkasse Koln in Germany.

The six-year-old will face seven rivals in the mile-and-a-half event in Cologne as he tries to follow up his success in the Hardwicke Stakes last time out.

German Derby winner Nicaron looks to be Bandari´s main rival in the ?155,000 contest while last year´s third Malinas and Simonas, runner-up to Sulamani in last year´s Canadian International, are also strong local hopes.
