Beaten Dandy Still On Course For Ascot

Dandy Man is still on course for Royal Ascot despite his narrow defeat by Tax Free at Naas yesterday.

But connections have yet to decide whether the four-year-old goes for the five-furlong King´s Stand Stakes or the Golden Jubilee Stakes over six furlongs

'We were happy with his run and how he has come out of the race,' said Curragh trainer Tracey Collins.

'It was a good race. The time of 57 seconds wasn´t slow and he had a very good horse in front of him.

'I think he´ll come on for the run and it´s Royal Ascot next. He holds a double entry and we´ll discuss it with the owners. We´ve not made our minds up yet.'
