Behrajan set for Haydock Henry Daly today confirmed that Behrajan - currently second favourite for the Thomas Pink Gold Cup - would almost certainly run at Haydock instead. The forecast good going at Cheltenham on Saturday has made a switch to Haydock for the Edward Hanmer Memorial Chase (Limited Handicap) on Sunday the trainer`s favoured option.Daly said: 'It`s looking more likely - in fact highly likely - that we will go to the Edward Hanmer. I would like him to run there.'I don`t want to run him at Cheltenham on good to soft going over two and a half miles.'If it was soft ground at Cheltenham, I would favour going there but it is highly unlikely to be soft there.'Six-year-old Behrajan won novices` chases at Huntingdon, Exeter and Wetherby last season, and is a course winner over hurdles at both Cheltenham and Haydock.Daly said that it was likely that a decision would be made today on whether his other Thomas Pink possible, Young Spartacus, would line up at Prestbury Park.'I will have a chat with the owners and we will make our minds up today and see where we go. He is fine and I am very happy with both of them,' he said.Young Spartacus is set to carry topweight of 12st after the weights went up following the defection of the original top five in the handicap. The eight-year-old gelding won the Ladbroke Trophy Chase over two miles and five furlongs at Cheltenham in January before winning the Racing Post Chase over three miles at Kempton in February. The Mary Reveley-trained Robbo - confirmed today as a Thomas Pink definite - was third in both of those races.
