Ben Bids To Book Royal Date Our Ben will be out to further strengthen owner Trevor Hemmings' hand in the Royal & SunAlliance Chase when he runs in Sunday's Dr PJ Moriarty Novice Chase at Leopardstown.Hemmings also has Crozan, Turpin Green, Billyvoddan and Neptune D'Anzy as well as the Willie Mullins-trained Our Ben entered in the Cheltenham race, but according to Michael Meagher, the owner's racing manager, they cannot be separated at the moment.'We haven't really got a pecking order for them,' said Meagher.'We will see how they all go in their next runs before deciding on their targets.'They all have entries in every race they are qualified for so we will see closer to Cheltenham where they end up.'Our Ben was placed in the Royal & SunAlliance Hurdle at last year's Festival but the fact he showed enough speed to win over two miles and a furlong on his latest start really impressed Meagher.'We were delighted with Our Ben last time. He showed real class to win over two miles considering he was doing all his best work over two miles and five furlongs at the finish in last year's SunAlliance Hurdle.'We've always thought a fair bit about him and he has some black-type. We've had him since he was a yearling so it's nice to see the rewards.'Our Ben is 9-4 for Sunday's contest and around 10-1 for the Royal & SunAlliance Chase.
