Bob Blow For Mullins Pedrobob, a leading contender for the Irish Independent Arkle Trophy, is out for the season with a leg injury.Although it is not serious, trainer Tony Mullins has put the 10-year-old on the easy list with a view to bringing him back next winter.'He's had a slight injury on a front leg and he's out for the season,' revealed the County Kilkenny trainer.'It was a result of whatever he did on Tuesday morning. He only cantered, but the problem was there this morning before he went out to exercise.'He needs rest and we're quite confident he'll be in training for next winter.'It's a very slight injury but it's pointless thinking that we can get him ready.'We could get him back in training in March but that's no good as he'll only be ready for May.'The timing of it now means he's out for the season.'Pedrobob won the County Hurdle at last season's Festival and scored by a distance on his second attempt over fences at Leopardstown last month. He was generally available at 16-1 for the Arkle.(C) PA Sport
