Byrnes Hoping Cailin Alainn can Recapture her Best Charles Byrnes has expressed the hope that his top-class mare, Cailin Alainn can recapture her best form. After saddling Carrigogunnell to land a gamble at Down Royal, he spoke of the daughter of Mister Lord. He said, "she was given an easy enough time once she was beaten (in the Grade 2 Byrne Group Plc Tied Cottage Chase at Punchestown last Sunday) but I was still a bit disappointed. Maybe she won´t come back to what she was and we´ll run her in a few weeks again and see how she gets on."
