CHIEF SIDELINED Godolphin's troubled American colt Chief Seattle has suffered another setback and will miss Sunday's Dwyer Stakes at Belmont Park. An unspecified problem will prevent the three-year-old from making his belated debut for the Dubai-based organisation in the Grade Two event, and future plans are "undecided". Godolphin's website revealed: "Chief Seattle will miss the Grade Two Dwyer Stakes at Belmont Park on Sunday. "He has met with a training setback and future plans for the colt are undecided at this time." Chief Seattle was bought by Godolphin for a reported US4million (around £2.65million) after finishing second in the Breeders' Cup Juvenile at Gulfstream Park last November but has not run since. He spent the winter in Dubai in preparation for the Kentucky Derby, only to miss the Churchill Downs Classic after suffering illness on his return to the USA. The colt was then aimed at last month's Belmont Stakes but was eventually ruled out of the final leg of the US triple crown after failing to please in training.
