Carberry badly bruised after fall Paul Carberry`s purple patch was halted at Cork today when Ireland`s leading jump jockey sustained a badly-bruised leg following a heavy fall.Carberry, setting a strong pace in the title race with 72 winners, was unshipped from Bandon Valley at the third last flight in the opening Tote Exacta Handicap Hurdle.He was taken to hospital for X-rays but returned to the course before the end of racing and was aided by a walking stick.He will take a couple of days off and hopes to be back this week but not say that he would return for the next meeting in Ireland at Punchestown on Wednesday.
