Caroline Gray Appointed Manager of Fairyhouse Racecourse Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) today announced the appointment of Caroline Gray to the position of Manager at Fairyhouse Racecourse with effect from October 1st 2007. Caroline, a Chartered Accountant by profession and a native of Navan in County Meath, assumes this position having been Manager of the HRI Betting Division since July 2005, prior to which she worked for five years in the HRI/IHA Finance Department.In announcing the appointment, HRI Chief Executive Brian Kavanagh said: 'I wish Caroline well in this new position. During her time as Manager of the HRI Betting Division, Caroline has helped to introduce many progressive innovations in that area and I am sure that she will bring the same approach to Fairyhouse.' Mr Roy Craigie, Chairman of Fairyhouse Racecourse said: 'With our expanded Easter and Winter Festivals, and our capital development programme, the next few years will be a very exciting time for Fairyhouse and in Caroline we have the right person to lead the development and growth of this racecourse.'Caroline Gray said: 'I look forward to the exciting challenges ahead in bringing Fairyhouse to the next stage of development and delivering a first-class level of service to our racegoers, sponsors and industry professionals'.
