Cat Back At Belmont Discreet Cat is to make an eagerly-anticipated return to action in the Vosburgh Stakes at Belmont Park on September 30.Godolphin´s colt has not been seen since losing his unbeaten record in the Dubai World Cup in March.Discreet Cat trailed home last behind Invasor in that 10-furlong showpiece, but was subsequently found to be suffering from an infection.Having been given time to come back to himself, Godolphin trainer Saeed bin Suroor is looking forward to unleashing his charge over six furlongs for the first time in his career.'He hasn´t run since the Dubai World Cup and we scoped the horse and found a little lump in his throat with some infection,' he said.'This time he is ready and is working well and I´m really happy with him. He´s changed in his condition and is much better than before.'While Discreet Cat has yet to show he can mix it with the best over sprint distances, bin Suroor has been impressed with the toe the Forestry colt shows at home.'When he works on the course, he shows a good turn of foot and has plenty of speed,' he told At The Races.'We´ll see how he runs before deciding about running at the Breeders´ Cup.'(C) PA Sport
