Cleary Successful With Appeal Sean Cleary who received a five day suspension for insufficient effort aboard Tom Cooper’s Crocogold at Tralee on August 29th, had his ban lifted after a meeting of the appeals and referrals committee at Galway racecourse today.Videos of the race were viewed by the Committee and evidence was heard from trainer, Cooper, Cleary and the apprentice’s master, Pat Flynn.The appeal was allowed on the basis that the video evidence was insufficient to uphold the decision of the Tralee Stewards.
