Cleary Whip Ban The Stewards interviewed Rory Cleary, rider of Sinntaran, concerning his use of the whip in the straight. Evidence was heard from the rider who stated that the horse was a very difficult ride and was hanging badly with him. Having viewed the video of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that Rory Cleary had used his whip with excessive frequency and therefore suspended him from riding for 1 raceday.
