Clonmel Call Off Chase Races

Officials at Clonmel have abandoned tomorrow's two chase races after the track was found to be unfit for racing.

Irish Turf Club press officer Cliff Noone said: 'Following an inspection the chase track was found to be unfit for racing ahead of tomorrow afternoon's fixture.

'The two chases have therefore been abandoned and the remaining races will be divided to form a six-race card and the ground at Clonmel is currently soft to heavy.'
