Cochet misses Victor Chandler

Fadoudal Du Cochet will miss the Victor Chandler Chase at Ascot on Saturday, it was revealed today.

Willie Mullins` Killultagh Storm will now be the only runner from this side of the water.

Arthur Moore, trainer of Fadoudal Du Cochet, saddled the last Irish winner of the contest with Jeffell in 1998.

The Venetia Williams-trained Davoski has been the horse to attract the punters` cash with Coral and William Hill today and is a best-priced 10-1 chance for the Stg£60,000 handicap.

However, riding arrangements have yet to be finalised for the eight-year-old.

'I think he`s going to run but I honestly don`t know who will ride him,' Miss Williams said.

William Hill also report money for Exit Swinger and have cut last year`s third to 7-1 from 8-1.
