Gavin Cromwell is looking forward to saddling Yeah Man in the Boylesports Irish Grand National at Fairyhouse.

The Westerner gelding is prominent in the betting for the Easter Monday showpiece, currently trading at 10/1.

He comes into the race having won the Grand National Trial at Haydock last month, over three-and-a-half miles.

Cromwell was pleased to see him handle heavy ground then and told Dave Keena:- “He won well and I wasn't shocked.

“I wasn't sure about the ground, as it was bottomless heavy ground. He hadn't won on it before but he'd run okay.

“I just wasn't sure about the extreme but he handled it well.”
