Cue camp leaning towards Betfair Chase Cue Card is likely to try to regain his Betfair Chase crown after he bounced back to his best in the Charlie Hall Chase at Wetherby on Saturday. Trainer Colin Tizzard confirmed the nine-year-old will have an entry in the Haydock feature, which he won impressively in 2013, on November 21. "Cue Card will be entered for the Betfair Chase. He had a little canter (Monday morning) and has come out of Wetherby absolutely fine," said Tizzard. "He looked back to something like his best at the weekend. He went five lengths clear going to the last and then idled a bit before putting his head down and staying on well to the line. "I know he was receiving 10lb from a few horses but I think it is good form. "People were asking me before how he was going to run and I said he was going much better at home than he was last year but they have got to do it on the track. "It was a relief because you can talk a lot of rubbish and it is best to let the horse do the talking. "He is in the Hennessy but, at the moment, I am pretty sure we will be going to Haydock Park. "He has obviously won the race before and I know Bob and Jean Bishop (owners) would love to try and win it again."
