Denise Foster's Cullentra team completed an opening races double at Navan today as Robinstown under Jack Kennedy, gained a short-head win in the second division of the Navan Members Maiden Hurdle. Hallowed Star improved to lead after jumping the final flight and while he appeared set to win in the run-in, Robinstown, a son of Stowaway, battled well close home to edge ahead at the line.

Afterwards Foster, earlier successful with the J.P. McManus owned Coqolino stated he had some great runs in point-to-points and Jack (Kennedy) said there he'll get further. He also thinks he'll be better off on better ground so that bodes well for the future.

“He was second to Dunboyne in a point-to-point and Dunboyne won a maiden hurdle for Cullentra a couple of weeks ago.

“He's got a bright future and I think he's going to improve a lot from that. He has plenty of size to him and he evidently has the ability.”
