DOBBIN TO RIDE TIMMY IN NATIONAL

Tony Dobbin is set to renew his association with Listen Timmy in the Martell Grand National on Saturday week, it emerged today.

The jockey won the Aintree spectacular for the 12-year-old`s owner, Sir Stanley Clarke, on Lord Gyllene in 1997.

And he has already landed a big prize on Listen Timmy over the Grand National fences.

'It looks like at the moment I`ll ride Listen Timmy for Sir Stanley Clarke,' Dobbin said.

'I won the John Hughes on him a couple of years ago and I rode him in last year`s National.

'When Micko`s Dream fell at the first I got hampered and put back to last after taking up a good position.'

Listen Timmy was eventually pulled up after the first circuit.

The 12-year-old gelding has struggled to find his form this season.
